Answers to common questions
about Dr. Bunch's membership practice
What does Dr.
Bunch's annual fee provide for me? Dr.
Bunch's annual membership fee provides you with a
strong focus on preventative care, comprehensive
family medical history, one annual physical, and a
plan for future health maintenance. What's more,
Dr. Bunch maintains a detailed Electronic Medical
Record of your care that is available to you at
any time upon request. Her annual fee also allows
Dr. Bunch to provide unhurried and lengthy medical
appointments - when YOU need one, customized
health plans, 24/7 accessibility and much
more.
Will I still be
able to utilize my private health insurance when
Dr. Bunch is my PCP? Yes. Your private
health insurance will cover the cost of lab tests,
X-rays, specialists, emergency care,
hospitalizations and other services. While having
private health insurance is not mandatory to
receive care from Dr. Bunch, it is strongly
recommended due to other healthcare providers continuing to operate in this fashion.
I have Medicare.
Does Dr. Bunch provide her same unparalleled level
of care for Medicare patients? Absolutely! Dr. Bunch provides
the same extraordinary level of care for all of
her patients, including Medicare beneficiaries. In
fact, she has opted-out of
Medicare specifically to always assure each and
every patient receives the care they need. Dr.
Bunch's patients place a high value on her care
for them and she gives all of her patients the
time and attention they deserve, regardless of
their insurance. In the traditional way that you may
be familiar, your Medicare insurance will
cover lab tests, X-rays, specialists, emergency
care, hospitalizations and other services.
What if I am
hospitalized for any reason? Dr. Bunch
will remain your personal physician and work
closely with hospital staff to coordinate your
care.
Is Dr. Bunch
really available all the time, including nights
and weekends? Yes, she is. That's part
of what your membership covers. Dr. Bunch is
easily reachable via phone and responds quickly to
emailed questions or concerns.
What if I have a
medical emergency? Dial 911, then call
Dr. Bunch. She can provide important medical
information from your records that will be helpful
to your emergency medical staff. She will also be
able to coordinate follow-up visits and assist in
developing a plan of treatment.
What if I need a
specialist? Dr. Bunch will facilitate
arrangements with medical and surgical specialists
for you. Of course, she will always participate in
important consultations with specialists to help
you understand and make wise health care
decisions.
Will I be able to
access my medical records? Absolutely.
You have the right (with prior written notice) to
access your medical records so you can inspect or
request copies. Of course, Dr. Bunch will maintain
confidentiality of your medical records as
required by law.
Do I
have to become a member to see Dr.
Bunch? Your initial assessment visit is
free, but after that, a membership is required
through the payment of an annual fee. The annual
